UNCCI Flags-Off Ugandan SMEs to Participate In 20th Americas Food and Beverage Show, Miami, USA

Uganda National Chamber of Commerce & Industry in partnership with the World Trade Centre in Miami- U.S. have coordinated a business mission to America to increase food exports from Africa; in line with AGOA.

This opportunity will promote exports for small and medium sized companies in Uganda and help stimulate economic conditions that will aid continued diversification and growth.

More than 11,000 buyers of purchase (“export ready”) food products for more than 15 million consumers are expected to attend. The event will be attended by food agents, chefs, cruise lines, culinary experts, distributors, food service, importers/exporters, grocery and retailers, hotels, hypermarkets, motels, restaurants, resort operators, specialty food stores, supermarkets and wholesalers.

The special invitation for Ugandan exhibitors is due to the increasing appreciation for Ugandan food products by consumers in the Western world.

Seven (7) UNCCI members will travel to Miami Florida to attend the Show scheduled to take place from 26-27th September 2016. These are companies are seeking business associates in the U.S. in order to finalize agreements for the export of Ugandan products.
