09th April 2008: Kampala to host the 35th meeting of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference in June 2008
The Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers (ICFM) of the Organisation of The Islamic Conference (OIC) will hold its 35th Session at the Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort in Kampala from 18th to 20th June 2008.

TITLE : OIC BUSINESS FORUM UGANDA HOSTS THE 12TH PRIVATE SECTOR MEETING FOR THE PROMOTION OF TRADE AND JOINT VENTURE INVESTMENT AMONG ISLAMIC COUNTRIES
DATES : MONDAY 16TH JUNE,2008 - WEDNESDAY 18TH JUNE,2008
VENUE : IMPERIAL ROYALE HOTEL

A projected attendance of 1,000 participants (Both Local and Foreign)
PARTICIPATION FEE US $200 (US DOLLARS TWO HUNDRED):
A participation fee of US$200 is chargeable to each participant.
MAJOR OBJECTIVES OF THE BUSINESS FORUM
To unlock Uganda, East Africa and Africa to the Rest of OIC through,
- Providing a platform for the interaction between the business community and the financing institutions within the OIC framework.
- Exploring of opportunities offered within the framework of the OIC for instance Trade Insurance, Tariff access, non-tariff and other opportunities available.
- Bringing to surface available opportunities for Export of products like fruits and expertise under the labour market.
