Sharjah and Uganda National Chambers of Commerce organize the UAE – Uganda Trade and Investment Forum in Kampala

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), which was represented by the Sharjah Exports Development Center that falls under the chamber’s umbrella and Uganda National Chamber of industry and commerce are organizing the UAE – Uganda Trade and Investment Forum in Kampala. The forum is part of the activities of the chamber’s 4th trade mission to East Africa.

 The trade mission, which is headed by HE Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the SCCI, aims at strengthening its network of relations with the Ugandan business community, where bilateral meetings are to be held between members of the trade delegation and their Ugandan counterparts.

The forum is to be held in the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, included the participation of 30 Emirati companies that operate in various manufacturing and industrial sectors such as iron, steel, food, power solutions, and electronic devices among others. The forum is held with the aim of developing trade relations in Uganda and reviewing the investment opportunities available in both Uganda and the UAE.
